I can’t even keep track of the numbers anymore…but here’s some more of what I learned while attending SJSU.
I learned that Tenure is a thing…and some teachers shouldn’t have it. Also, along these same lines…I learned that some teachers have it together and really know what they are doing, and some teachers could use a TA…or five?
I learned that driving through Gilroy smells like garlic..and garlic makes me think of garlic bread.
I learned…or was reminded, that nothing can separate me from the love of Jesus Christ. In a time of paralyzing and freakishly out of character fear that lasted for almost a month and half, these verses, (Romans 38-39, Philippians 4:8, and Psalm 91) and the support and prayer from my parents were like the only things holding me together.
I learned to find the humor in difficult situations
I learned that I can’t always just be shy, quiet, and introverted. No, sometimes I’ve actually gotta talk to people, be outgoing and friendly, and be heard.
I learned that my back may never recover from carrying around a 200 pound backpack.
I learned that there is a part of me deep down that LIKES to learn.
I learned that I am the worlds slowest painter. On a related note, I learned that Lifetime Christmas Movies are the worst. Trust me…these two are related.
I learned what Melatonin is. Also Known As my bff Monday-Wednesday.
I learned that it’s pretty much inevitable that at least once a semester, if not more, a migraine will come out of nowhere, derail me, and send me reeling while not knowing what the heck is even happening in my life. Ya’ll. It is so much fun.
I learned that downtown San Jose at Twilight is one of the glittery-est, and prettiest places.
And I learned that I’m done with this post. Goodbye. =)
